[01:56.30] I've got my cousin and her family visiting next month, and as I don't have kids, i've no idea where to take them. ”
[02:04.88]WOMEN:“Right? What about accommodation? Are they going to stay with you in your flat? ”
[02:09.30]MEN:“No, thankfully, there wouldn't be room.
[02:12.35]My cousin wants me to recommend a hotel. Do You know anywhere?
[02:16.65]WOMEN:“I do, actually I always recommend people stay at the king's hotel.”
[02:21.73]MEN:“Where's that near?”
[02:23.05]WOMEN:“It's about 5 minutes walk from Murray station so nice and central, It's actually on George Street. ”
[02:29.73]MEN:“Yes, I know. I think they're on quite a tight budget. So how much roughly is it to stay there?”
[02:37.51]WOMEN:“If you book a family room, it's about￡125 per night. My brother paid for two double rooms in the end.
[02:45.65]I think that was around￡95 for each room. ”
[02:49.30]MEN:That's not too bad. ”
[02:50.94]WOMEN:“How old are your cousins, kids? ”
[02:53.43]MEN:“12 and 9. So I want to organize some trips while they're here.
[02:58.24] I was thinking of doing a bus tour of the city center as none of them have been here before. ”
[03:04.76]WOMEN:“Those bus tours are quite expensive. I think it's better to do a walking tour, It gives you a much better feel for the city.
[03:13.15] There's one that starts from Colton square. It takes a couple of hours and doesn't cost that much. ”
[03:18.54]MEN:“Sounds good. I'll look that up.Thanks. ”
[03:21.38]WOMEN:“If the weather is nice, one thing you could do is visit the old fort. You could get there by boat. The whole trip takes half a day.”
[03:29.05]MEN:“That's a really good idea. I'd like to do that myself.
[03:33.04]“If the weather is bad, I was thinking they could go to the science museum, but maybe they could do that when I'm at work.”
[03:41.69]WOMEN:“Don't forget. It's closed on Mondays.”
[03:44.52]MEN:”They're here from Saturday for four nights. So Tuesday would be best, I think.“
[03:50.50]WOMEN:“And it won't be so crowded then. Saturdays are terrible. I took my kids to the exhibition on old computers there and it was far too crowded. I wanted to go back, but it's finished now.”
[04:01.10]MEN:“That's a shame. My cousin's kids would have enjoyed that.
[04:05.05]WOMEN:“There's another one starting soon on space, which looks really good, too.”
[04:09.26]MEN:“I'll mention that to my cousin. ”
[04:48.04]WOMEN:“Have you thought about where to take them to eat?
[04:50.56]MEN:“I really like all the food stalls at Clapton market. My cousin's vegetarian. I know it's one of the best places for that kind of food.”
[05:01.18]WOMEN:“Definitely, and there will be loads of choice for the kids too. You need to get there quite early though at the weekend, most of the stores stop serving lunch at 2:30.”
[05:10.94]MEN:“Good points. It's all going to need careful planning. My cousin said she'd love to take the kids to a show at the theater, but tickets are so expensive.”
[05:21.80]WOMEN:“I know, but you can get some good deals. If you book online with bargain tickets dot com for the following day. On some seats, there's a 75% discount.”
[05:31.77]MEN:“Really, I must try and get some. ”
[05:34.70]WOMEN:“There are lots of things you can do for free as well. No need to spend a fortune.”
[05:39.58]MEN:“Like what?”
[05:40.52]WOMEN:“They're coming next month, right? Check and see if it's the same weekend as the roots music festival in blakewell gardens.”
[05:48.75]MEN:“R double ots.”
[05:51.83]WOMEN:“Check it out online. It's always a family friendly event, and there's no entry charge.”
[05:57.63]MEN:“That sounds perfect.”
[05:59.11]WOMEN:“If you in Blackwell gardens, climb Telegraph hill, you'll be able to look right down on the port. Everyone's always really impressed because it's so huge.”
