示范答案:
I’d like to talk about how I met my best friend, Lin, back in middle school.
First, who I met—she’s Lin, a girl who was in the same class as me when I started 7th grade.
Then, when and where we met—it was on the first day of middle school, in our classroom. I’d just moved to the city, so I felt nervous and didn’t know anyone there.
As for what I thought of her at first—she sat next to me, and when I fumbled with my stationery (I’d dropped my pencil case and all my pens rolled away), she quickly helped me pick them up. I thought she was really kind and easy to talk to—her smile was warm, and she didn’t make me feel awkward about being the new kid.
Finally, why we became good friends—we realized we shared a lot of hobbies: we both loved reading fantasy novels and drawing cartoon characters. After class, we’d often sit together to talk about our favorite book plots or doodle in our notebooks. More importantly, she was always there when I needed support—like when I failed a math test, she stayed after school to help me go over the questions. Over time, we found that we could be totally ourselves around each other, which made our friendship feel natural and comfortable.
