When students have questions about an assignment for class, some prefer to ask their professors for help, others would rather ask fellow students. Which do you prefer?

I prefer to ask fellow students. One reason is I think if all of us come to ask our professors for help, this will noticeably bring our teachers heavy workload. Also, one professor will teach hundreds of students in one semester, so he wouldn’t have enough time to cope with every student. Another reason is I don’t really like to get answers directly. I enjoy the process in which several of us get together and brainstorming. Discussing with classmates can also help to develop our elaborative faculty. In addition, we can learn communication and cooperation and some other social skills during this process. That’s why I will choose fellow students instead of professors.
