Well, this is an interesting topic. Actually, it reminds me of my first mobile phone which was a gift sent by my father on the occasion of my 18th birthday. It was a Nokia phone which featured in its small size and multiple functions. I loved its design and the color. I remember that most of my classmates were jealous about this phone and that made me feel awesome. It’s my first time to use a phone and I found it easy to use.  
I would say that this phone really revolutionized the way of communication between me and my friends. You know, I could send text messages instead of calling with the landline phone or writing letters to each other. That remarkably lowered the cost and enabled me to keep in touch with my friends at any time. Though it was not a smart phone, it offered a big variety of handy functions, including dictionaries and cameras. I found the most impressive function of that mobile phone was that I could look up new words in it, which helped me learn English quickly. The mobile phone I had also featured in the good quality camera which allowed me to take lots of fancy pictures without bringing my digital camera. That's pretty appealing and cool.
