[00:10.17]W: Uh-huh. We do have special workshops, but we don’t really have any classes that deal with just test preparation. [00:17.38]But we do have tutors for particular subject areas. [00:21.12]What test are you studying for?
[00:23.13]M: Uh ... not any test in particular. [00:26.29]But I, uh, I’m taking some difficult courses this semester and I have a lot of reading to do. [00:32.53]I just feel like I need to bone up on my study skills, you know, learn how to study better.

[00:38.91]M: I spend a lot of time studying but still have trouble organizing my notes and stuff. [00:43.84]I was hoping I could get some help with that.
[00:46.24]W: OK. You could take one of our special workshops. [00:49.55]There are several of these each week. [00:51.82]The workshops in study skills and time management are especially popular. [00:56.40]Would you be interested in doing something like that?
[00:59.00]M: Yeah, I would.
[01:00.35]W: OK. We have several workshops. [01:02.83]All of them are two hours long. [01:04.73]Most are held in the evening, but there’s a couple that are on the weekend.
[01:08.48]M: Yeah, I see that. Evenings would be good for me because I work on weekends.[01:12.80]Um ... so the classes are just two-hour workshops that just meet once? [01:16.75]Or does a class continue every week?
[01:18.86]W: They’re just one-time workshops. [01:21.32]I mean, except for the class called Super Student. [01:24.13]That one runs for three Wednesday nights, starting next week.
[01:27.33]M: Super Student? I get it ... it makes you like Superman.
[01:31.20]W: Well, I don’t know about that!
[01:34.01]M: So, um, how does this work? [01:37.06]Do you have to register for these workshops?
[01:39.40]W: Yes, but it’s only a matter of signing up. [01:41.74]Do you see that board over there? [01:43.35]The white board next to it, just to the right of the computers?
[01:46.29]M: Uh-huh.
[01:47.22]W: Well, there’s a sheet there for every workshop offered this semester, and that’s how you sign up. [01:52.67]Some of the workshops are given more than once. [01:55.14]You just write your name in any available space, under a particular date and time. [02:00.27]When there are no more spaces left, that means the class is closed. [02:04.46]We have to have a limit ’cause there’s only so much space in our classroom.
[02:08.16]M: How much does a workshop cost?
[02:10.13]W: There isn’t any cost. [02:11.76]All of the workshops are free to students.
