Before I went abroad for my graduate study, I rely on my parents for my life very much—my mom would prepare breakfast for me and my father would drive me to the metro station. I did not need to do any housework. However, when I went to the United States to accomplish my MBA, I had to learn to handle all the trifles by myself—wash the clothes, cleaning the house and so on. And I gradually realized that I had to be more independent, which is a necessary skill no matter for my life or my future career. Now, I no longer rely that much on parents.
